Crochet Company

Friday morning in my world
is turning into a very special place!

Coffee, cake, crochet, yarn, fabric
 and the company and conversation
 of others who get it!

We haven't met before
and come from many different locations
 and walks of life!
 Age doesn't matter
as we all speak the same language of hooky!

Yet when you see us sat as a group
you'd think we were old friends!
All very comfortable in each others company
 discussing
 stitches patterns colours yarns
and sometimes just enjoying that companionable silence
as we count and hook to our hearts content!

The coffees teas and cakes
are all beautifully served by the lovely ladies at
and we so enjoy the fabulous surroundings
 which make a stitcher's heaven.
Whether you are into fabric or yarn,
this shop is definitely worth a visit!

The cute little tearoom
decorated with patchwork and crocheted cushions,
 coloured painted chairs and chandeliers
is a delightful place to meet.

We are a newly formed group and welcome newcomers.
We meet on Friday Mornings
 10am to 12 noon
at
Love Stitch,
Telegraph Rd, Heswall, Wirral CH60 7SG

 Come regularly,
 come occasionally
 or come once to visit!

We will be pleased to meet you
 and share crochet time together.
Just bring your hooky and enjoy a coffee and cake
 with crochet company and conversation!

not only sells every type of haberdashery
 you could need
but they also run many interesting courses
in sewing knitting crochet and other crafts too.

Take a look at their website
to see what's on offer and keep watching!
Soon I will be offering a series of
crochet inspiration workshops.
here too!

Whatever you are hookin
have a colourful weekend!
I'm indulging in some rainbow fun
with the gorgeous colours of
making a quick corner to corner blanket for a gift.

Clapping hands with glee at the same time, eyes brimming!
I used to run a group called Allsorts Needlecrafts in Plymouth which led to me starting a mail order business.
I used to be engrossed with Cross Stitch, but now it's Crochet!
We, like you had such great afternoons crafting or visiting exhibitions. I organised trips to Needlecraft Exhibitions in London and Birmingham every year. Sadly, we left Plymouth due to my husband's job relocation & couldn't restart my club or business again. Still, I have some wonderful memories!
Loving all your posts about your current projects and your hints and tips as well as all the replies from your followers. Keep up the good work and have a cup of tea and piece of cake for me at your next meeting!

Oh, this looks so nice! I wish fabric and yarn shops here (Maine, USA) did this sort of thing, or at least had a tea room at one end!

Hi, I'm soooooo jealous of you being able to have a coffee, natter & crochet in a lovely location , with like minded people. Makes crafting even more enjoyable. Brilliant photos....looks like you're all getting on like a house on fire. Janice xx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
